‘How to’ Series – Get the most out of your booking with us

A few friendly tips on how to get the most out of your booking with us:

.

.

  • Set times: If you want a background act, schedule the sets at the same time as buffets, drinks or canapés. To fill the dance floor, avoid placing sets straight after eating or at the same time as a buffet. Dance floors are always better once people have had a few drinks too!

.

  • First dance: Send over a Spotify link to your first dance or any song requests asap, to avoid disappointment.

.

  • Food and drink: We travel far and for long hours, so a proper meal and drinks are really important.  Usually best fed before, or in between the sets. – No cheese boards!

.

  • T&Cs: Check out the agencies T&Cs to make sure you’ve got everything covered

.

  • Venue: Does the venue have a sound limiter, unusual layout or requirements?  Let us know.

.

  • DJ: If you have not booked the DJ set, we will leave as soon as our last set is over.  if you are continuing the party after we leave, make sure you have an alternative sound and light system available. If you have booked the DJ, let us know your musical taste or send us your own Spotify playlist.

.

  • Sound checks: Despite our best efforts to be non-intrusive, sound checks and load-ins are noisy and involve lots of equipment.  It’s best to arrange this when the venue is empty, or the guests can retire to another space to avoid losing that magic touch.

.

  • Payment: Pay in advance via bank transfer to avoid any hassle on the day.
